I played for Jud at West Valley HS. He was larger then life, total commitment and amazing knowledge. He used to challenge us with his "famous" set shot - if you heard him suck air through his teeth when he shot - you were toast! He even took the time to attend our 50th class reunion - class act- then and now.Thanks Jud - you taught me a lot about lifeManley Lease

It even discusses Mateen as the next great player. Though I don't agree with him on some issues (He thought Scott Skiles should of got a break on his DUI arrest and charge). The book will also give you feel for the turmoil that goes along with being a basketball coach in the Big Ten. From dealing with the Politics of the Administration on Campus, to clearing his name of any wrong doings with Parrish Hickman. The book also states why he stayed an extra two years...
