I purchased 10 Waterboxxes from DewHarvest last year. My first use was to save a small live oak tree planted by the neighbor's third grader in a one acre field next to our house. Our town provides all our third graders with a sapling as part of the school's science program. The tree was planted and promptly ignored while his focus moved to sports and video games. As a result, the tree was not receiving sufficient water as it tried to establish itself in the Texas heat. The little sapling was just barely alive when I asked the neighbor if I could experiment with the Waterboxx. Since installation of the Waterboxx, the tree has made a remarkable recovery and has almost doubled in size. The only time I added any water (3.5 gallons) was during the initial installation. I have essentially also ignored it ever since. The Waterboxx is truly an amazing innovation. It works! Exactly as described in this book. Plus, The Waterboxx Gardener book by Dr. Auman has opened my eyes to its potential for our vegetable garden. The harsh summers take a toll on our garden (as well as me and my wife). Watering is a full time challenge from June through September. The insights provided in this book will expand our use of the Waterboxx from the trees to the vegetables. I wish I had this book and its guidance last year! Thank you for providing your insights, Dr. Auman!

Well written, detailed book with everything that a Waterboxx Gardener would need to start growing fruits & veggies in the Waterboxx. We've ordered 10 Waterboxxes this year and started growing tomatoes in raised beds with the Waterboxx. So far, so good!
